Lactation & Infant Feeding Support
What I do
I offer compassionate, judgment-free support for all infant feeding journeys — breastfeeding, chestfeeding, pumping, formula feeding, or any combination. My goal is to help you feel confident, informed, and supported as you learn to feed your baby in the way that’s right for your family, all in the comfort of your own home.
Why I do it
I’m a Certified Lactation Counselor through the Healthy Children Project/Center for Breastfeeding, and I’ve exclusively breastfed both of my children well into toddlerhood — but my journey didn’t start out easy. I remember the overwhelm, the tears, the uncertainty and all of the appointments. This is why I am offering In-Home support for families looking for feeding support. I want to take some of the stress off your plate - no need to pack up and head to the hospital or lactation office.
How I support you
I offer calm, personalized guidance that helps you understand what’s happening in your body and with your baby — without pressure, shame, or one “right” way to feed. Whether you’re preparing during pregnancy, learning with a newborn, or navigating challenges weeks or months in, I’m here to walk with you. You’ll get evidence-based information, clear explanations, practical strategies, and in-person support so you feel empowered and able to feed your baby.
Initial in-home consultations usually last 90 - 120 minutes and include a full history and feeding assessment. After this, I will be available to you via phone and e-mail for up to 2 weeks for any follow up questions or support.
I offer additional follow-up visits in your home if desired at an additional cost. This rate applies if the follow up visit is a week later, or 6 months later.
